Overview

Noggin is lying under wraps in my sister and brother-in-law's barn outside Monmouth and perched on a smart double-axle French trailer.

The hull and keel mechanism were overhauled by John Searle from whose estate I bought the boat in about 2004.

The 6 horsepower Yamaha is a longshaft and has a reduction gear; hours run are probably less than ten.

The full set of sails by Jeckells are 2006 and are virtually unused.

A loo has been fitted and additional storage is provided.

New wiring has been carried out (some professionally).

Jackstays and a pushpit have recently been fabricated and fitted.

Noggin provides a splendid opportunity to buy a weekender yet avoid all the year round marina fees

The Atalanta Owners site provides details of the construction and of the community which is so important to the enjoyment of a boat like this.
